*** Met Gary a couple weeks ago in Port Jefferson - He was a guest on the Grooveyard this summer. He has a new holiday CD coming out and he may be coming up to the station in the near future. I asked him to consider being a guest DJ for a future show this fall.
****For Mike Riccio, my Music Director in the late 60's through 1970. Mike has a fondness for "Bubble Gum" Music groups like the Archies while I lean more toward progressive rock. We like to tease eachother about our musical differences. Mike was instrumental in suggesting this theme and I thank him. Finally, I would like to plug the Oldies Board that Mike chairs - you can check it out at www.oldiesboard.com - There have been over 1 million hits to that website. It is a great deal of fun to check out on a regular basis.
